We would like to introduce our new head coach, he will be a great addition to our team and will lead our team in a positive direction after our last season and the coaching staff was less than desirable.
Coach L is dedicated to football and the team and he has stepped right up and stepped right in to lead the players and showing them certain things about the game of football.
Coach L’s Bio:
Tuan Van Le started his football career at De La Salle High School in 1985. Playing under coaches Bob Ladouceur and Terry Eidson, Tuan excelled in Defense as a Corner Back and on Offense as a Wide Receiver. In 1987 Tuan was named All American Northern Player of the Year sharing top honor with Junior Seau. A graduate in the Class of ’87, Tuan went on to Stanford University as a Jack Elway recruit. He had an opportunity to be coached by both Jack Elway and Dennis Green (Head Coach of Minnesota Vikings) in the role of Defensive Back. Tuan is most well-known for blocking a 20-yard field goal in the 1988 Stanford – Cal Big Game, preserving Stanford’s possession of “The Axe.
